Individual Categories:

  • Girls 4 years old or under

Team Categories:

  • Girls 6 years old or under

Race Grouping:

Participants are grouped by age. Age is determined as of the competition day (2026.6.28). Participants may compete in higher age groups.

Competition Rules:

  • Participants must obtain their participation pass upon arrival and present it when reporting to the assembly area.
  • All events will have random lane and heat assignments. There will be no preliminary/final heats for any event; rankings will be determined by the best time.
  • Participants in all categories may choose to start from within the water or from the starting blocks. All races will adopt a one-start rule. Any participant who commits a foul will be disqualified after the race.
  • If an unstarted event is canceled due to force majeure on the competition day, the registration fee paid can be fully refunded, or participants can be merged into other categories without a refund of the registration fee.
  • Participants must present their participation pass when checking in and collecting medals. Please keep it safe. A replacement fee of $50 will be charged for lost passes.
  • Participants who fail to present their participation pass during the competition will be charged a $50 replacement fee.

Except for what is stipulated in these SEEDINO Cup competition regulations and these guidelines, other terms will follow the rules of the Hong Kong China Swimming Association (excluding swimwear specifications).

Team Relay Race:

  • Each team is limited to 4 members (4 males or 4 females or 2 males and 2 females). Athletes can form their own teams freely.
  • During relay races, participants are not allowed to use buoyancy aids.
  • Team scores are not counted towards individual event scores.

Referee's Decision:

No appeals will be accepted on the day of the competition. All results will be based on the final decision of the Hong Kong China Swimming Association referees on that day, and participants may not object.

Lane Safety:

Each lane is staffed with licensed and compliant local lifeguards, timekeepers, and lane officials to ensure competition safety as the top priority.

Parent Appeals:

For any appeals regarding race timing on the competition day, please provide the reason for appeal and proof via your registration email to: info@seedino.com.

Awards:

  • Individual certificate content includes: individual photo (provided by participant), time record ( minutes:seconds.milliseconds), overall ranking.
  • Individual events will have champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, and third runner-up awards, each receiving a medal.
  • Each age group will have an overall champion, each receiving a trophy.
  • The champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, and third runner-up of the overall competition will each receive a competition version of the SEEDINO quick-drying towel.
  • Team relay events will have champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, and third runner-up medals, each receiving a trophy.

Competition Certificates:

  • Electronic versions of certificates will be sent to the registration email within 30 days after the competition day.
  • Participants who choose physical certificates can notify us by emailing info@seedino.com within three days after the competition day.
  • All medals and trophies will be awarded on the day of the competition.

Individual Events:

  • 1st Place: 9 points
  • 2nd Place: 7 points
  • 3rd Place: 6 points
  • 4th Place: 5 points
  • 5th Place: 4 points
  • 6th Place: 3 points
  • 7th Place: 2 points
  • 8th Place: 1 point

Relay Events:

  • 1st Place: 9 points
  • 2nd Place: 7 points
  • 3rd Place: 6 points
  • 4th Place: 5 points
  • 5th Place: 4 points
  • 6th Place: 3 points
  • 7th Place: 2 points
  • 8th Place: 1 point

Results Announcement:

  • On-site QR Code
  • Post-competition results will be published on the official website here.

Overall Champion:

  • There will be an overall champion for each age group.
  • The overall champion is determined by the total points accumulated from the events participated in on the day.

Filming Arrangements:

An official filming team will be present to film each event (including aerial footage). Post-competition videos will be published on the official YouTube channel: SEEDINO YouTube.

Inclement Weather Arrangements:

If, after the competition begins on the event day, certain events are canceled due to adverse weather, participants will not be eligible for a refund. If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or higher, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, at 7:00 AM, the day's competition will be canceled and rescheduled. Rescheduling will be announced based on venue availability.

Important Notes:

  • No warm-up or trial swimming will be allowed on the day of the competition.
  • Spectators/parents are strictly prohibited from making noise within the pool competition area. They may observe and support the event in a friendly manner without disturbing participants.
  • Participants must bring the participation pass issued by the organizing committee to report to the assembly area. Failure to present the pass or if the information does not match the registration form will result in disqualification, and the registration fee will not be refunded. Participants may not object.
  • If a participant is late when an event is starting, and all lanes for that event have completed, the participant will be considered absent and disqualified, with no make-up.
  • Participants must comply with all official rules of the organizing committee, school, and swimming pool.
  • If a participant shows any symptoms of skin disease on the day of the competition and cannot provide a doctor's certificate, the organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify them.
  • If participants are found intentionally cheating or violating the rules, their competition results and qualifications will be revoked.

The organizing committee reserves the right to amend these regulations at any time without prior notice if there are any inadequacies. Please refer to official announcements.
